Whirlpool Cabrio Platinum Top-Load HE Washer - Chrome Shadow (5.3 cu. ft.)

Up for grabs is a premium Whirlpool Cabrio High-Efficiency top-load washer, model WTW8500DC1, finished in the very sharp and modern 'Chrome Shadow' metallic gray. Based on Whirlpool's serial dating (C633...), this unit rolled off the assembly line in Clyde, Ohio, around the 33rd week of 2016. This is a monster of a washing machine with a massive 5.3 cu. ft. smooth stainless wash basket—easily big enough to swallow king-sized comforters and huge family loads without breaking a sweat. It features intuitive capacitive touch controls, Adaptive Wash Technology, Active Bloom wash action with an impeller wash plate, precision detergent/softener dispensing, and an 850 RPM high-speed spin cycle to pull out maximum water and cut down your dryer times. It is also ENERGY STAR rated to save on your utility bills. From a repairman's bench: On these electronic top-load Cabrios, you always want to make sure the suspension rods are good and firm (so the tub doesn't get out of balance and bang around during high spin) and that the lid-lock switch and drain pump function properly. This unit has been thoroughly tested, spin-tested, cleaned out, and runs nice and quiet through all its cycles. It's clean, ready to work, and would make a great addition to any laundry room!
